ARROW NEWS:
- Arrow Boss Talks Premiere's Big Twist, Oliver and Felicity's Shared Fight (Date: 15 Oct 2018)
- Monday’s Arrow season premiere went back to the beginning — and to the future! Through a series of flash-forwards, viewers were introduced to Oliver’s now-adult son William (played by Chasing Life‘s Ben Lewis) as he arrived on Lian Yu. “When you’re on a show for so long, the challenges are trying to tell new stories with your characters,” showrunner Beth Schwartz explains. But the new timeline, which picks up 20 years after the present day, has “just opened up a huge world for us, and the creativity just poured in. Now the stories are endless.” While the future glimpses won’t be included in every episode, they will be present “a lot,” and “all season and series,” reveals Schwartz, who is mum on details about the twist.

- Elseworlds Poster Flips the Arrowverse On Its Head (Date: 16 Oct 2018)
- The new poster for “Elseworlds,” the CW’s three-night superhero crossover, flips the script of the entire Arrowverse with its depiction of Barry Allen as Green Arrow and Oliver Queen as The Flash.

- Parody #1: "Elseworlds" Fan Poster Imagines the Flash as Superman (17 Oct 2018)
- Artist Boss Logic posted his latest "Elseworlds" creation to Twitter earlier today imagining Gustin suited up as the Man of Steel with Tyler Hoechlin trying out The Flash suit.

- Parody #2: "Elseworlds" Fan Poster Imagines Green Arrow as Supergirl (17 Oct 2018)
- Of the various strange costume choices we have seen Stephen Amell take on so far as part of the upcoming "Elseworlds" crossover, there is one dark horse candidate for fan favorite that seems to keep coming up: Supergirl. That's right, fans are eager to see the ultra-masculine, stubble-chinned Green Arrow actor suit up in a skirt and long hair for the crossover. And while it will almost certainly never happen for real, the magic of Photoshop has made it something that fans can enjoy.

- Arrowverse: Elseworlds Features An Unexpected Smallville Connection (18 Oct 2018)
- The latest Arrowverse crossover event, titled “Elseworlds,” is currently in the midst of shooting, and we’ve recently been literally swarmed with set pictures. From Superman in a black version of his costume to our first official look at Grimm actress Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane. More pictures later surfaced, revealing that Amell and Gustin were both also on the set of Clark Kent’s Kansas homestead, the exact same farmhouse that was featured in the Tom Welling-starring series, Smallville.

- Arrowverse: Barry & Oliver’s Elseworlds Biker Duo Gets a Classic DC Name (Date: 17 Oct 2018)
- This year’s Arrowverse crossover has gradually been teasing alternate universe versions of the various heroes of The CW’s shared television universe and a multiversal incarnation of Oliver Queen and Barry Allen have just been named referencing a classic DC Comics duo. Set photos have emerged online as the crossover films in Vancouver the biker versions of the DCTV heroes sporting leather jackets with the name “Trigger Twins” emblazoned across the back. Judging by the set photos, which had originally surfaced yesterday, the DCTV incarnation won’t be siblings at all but rather biker versions of Barry Allen and Oliver Queen. Whether this alternate universe duo still fights crime or are criminals themselves have yet to be seen.

GENERAL DC NEWS:
- Lex Luthor is Coming to 'Supergirl' (Date: 18 Oct 2018)
- Superman's greatest nemesis will come to Supergirl sometime after the crossover; he has not yet even been cast, and will not appear in the event. The addition of Luthor and Lois to Supergirl will likely get fans talking even more than they were before about the possibility of creating a Superman series featuring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch. The odds have never seemed particularly high given the necessary budget, but recent reports that Henry Cavill and Warner Bros. have parted ways and the current Superman film franchise is dead in the water may give the idea of bringing the Man of Steel to television more credence.
